Our hope is that by the time students graduate from high school, they will KNOW the love and grace of Jesus, be empowered to GROW in wisdom and knowledge of the truth of God's Word, and desire to SERVE and LEAD others closer to Him. Through weekly worship, teaching and small groups, students receive care, have fun with friends, learn about God's awesome grace and goodness, and explore different ways to serve Jesus.
YOUTH BAND (name in progress!): Calling all student musicians!
Practice weekly at 5:45 p.m. in the Life Center, lead worship for Wednesday night youth events at 6:30 p.m. If interested in leading worship with us, contact DCE Annie for additional rehearsal times!
6:30 - 8:30 PM : Youth Center (upstairs on north side of campus)
Youth-led worship, games, friends, and time in the Word together. This is an awesome time to get to know other Christian teenagers here and to bring friends who don’t know Jesus! Quarterly off campus fun nights, and traditional events like the Christmas Progressive Dinner!
FUNDRAISING, TRIPS, RETREAT AND EVENTS:
Every year our students chose to go on one big summer trip, usually requiring fundraising. This year, we are going to the 2019 LCMS National Youth Gathering.
SERVE & LEAD:
We encourage all students to worship and serve on Sundays. Worship with your family at any of our 4 worship services. Serve at a worship service or in Agape Kids Sunday School in the hour you don't worship! There are a variety of opportunities throughout the week to serve and lead. SALT (Student Adult Leadership Team) will launch in Fall 2018 with student leaders who help to design, facilitate, lead and encourage others to lead the weekly Wednesday night experience and other trips and activities.
