Pray For Our Teams In Honduras
Christ’s Greenfield family, we have two teams totaling 29 missionaries that are either in Honduras right now or headed to Honduras in the next few days. Both teams will be ministering to children in the Open Door Ministries orphanage by playing games, singing songs, and talking about Jesus.
I would love for you to meet the team and what they are excited about for the trip.
I am excited for this wonderful opportunity I have been given to go to Honduras. I need prayer for the Lord Jesus to guide me and help me to see my purpose on this mission. I am so grateful for everyone that has supported me emotionally to do this. Thank you!
Pastor Jake Boessling
I am excited to be able to see for myself the work that David and Betty Boyd, Matt Drager and the rest of the team members from last year's group we sent have done with these children. I can’t wait to witness all the Holy Spirit does through these 29 missionaries on fire for Jesus. Thanks for praying for us as we are away.
Tim and Christopher Boyd
I am excited about being able to go back and see all of the amazing kids at the orphanage.
Please pray I follow God's will whether it be works or loving support for the people of Honduras.

I need prayer for reassurance that whatever gift God has blessed me with will benefit everyone on the team and those I come in contact with at the orphanage, the abused girls' home, hospital and the feeding stations. I am grateful that I am having the opportunity to do a mission trip with other Christians.
I decided to go on this trip because Matt and Hannah (my brother and niece) light up every time they talk about their experiences in Honduras last year. When they said they were going again, and that I could join, I felt an undeniable call to go. I love to attend Christ’s Greenfield every time I am visiting from Texas and I’m so grateful you are allowing me to be a part of the team!
I am so excited about seeing all the kids again! I can't wait to play with them and to continue building relationships with them! I can't wait to see how God changes my life and the lives of those around me!
I am excited to see the children again and see how they have grown. I need prayer for my stress knowing I am responsible for leading our team and lots of supplies through all of the airport security and customs. I am grateful for God's way of speaking His words of encouragement and correction to me through music, prayer and fellow Christians.
Please pray that the Holy Spirit would continue creating a new heart in me, aligning me to God’s will, and that He would break my heart for what breaks His. I am asking for the ability to feel and show mercy for all people, especially those who are in desperate need of God’s love to be shown through me.
I'm excited to go on the Honduras trip to see what Open Door Ministries has already accomplished and to share my love for Jesus to the kids and young girls. And I hope that what Spanish I do know actually is useful.
I'm excited about the opportunity to bless those in need and share the love of Christ. It's a big world out there and sometimes we forget how blessed we are here in the USA. We serve a BIG God whose love transcends our human definition of love to a point that is hard to comprehend. "For God so loved the world, He gave His only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.” John 3:16
What a blessing!! I have always had a desire to go to a children’s orphanage overseas and serve/minister and share God’s love. So thankful God has opened the door for me to be able to do this.
I am excited for the team and their prayer partners and supporters. I know God has prepared them for their service in His name. I need prayer for the language challenges I know that are to come. I pray for the patience of the children and others as we show God's love for them in our actions and our words. I am also asking for prayers for the support of our requests for soccer balls and nets. I am grateful for CGLC for their support in this mission outreach. My wife went on a mission trip to the Amazon two years before she passed away. I saw the growth in her faith after that trip and I know all who are going on the trip and their prayer partners will grow in their faith as well. To Him be the glory!

I am excited for the opportunity to be the hands and feet of Jesus to these children, I need prayer for figuring out how to be useful as an English only team member. I am grateful to be able to travel with this team.
I am excited to see God’s plans unfold before us. I need prayers for patience. I am grateful for the grace God provides me each day.
Please pray for me as I go to serve the Lord in Honduras as a high school youth! Praise God!

I am excited to finally go back to Honduras to continue to impact lives for Jesus. I was a missionary in Honduras after college so the country and its people hold a special place in my heart. I can’t wait to preach the Gospel and heal both mind, body, and soul! Glory to Christ!
I am elated to finally be going back to Honduras. It is where I found my calling to become a PA. God called me through the people of Honduras to help those who are impoverished and in need of medical care. I cannot wait to spread His word and healing hand again.
Please pray for me that the Holy Spirit would work through me as a vessel of His grace and mercy, and God would give me the confidence that comes through trusting Him and not myself.
I am excited about serving the Lord, serving the children and young women of the orphanage and girls' home, serving the people of Honduras, and serving my fellow team members. I am looking forward to seeing all the exciting and wonderful ways the Lord will work through each of us and showing God's love to all we come in contact with. Thank You Jesus for blessing me with this opportunity to work for Your kingdom in Honduras!
I thank God for placing this trip on my heart. I pray all the children, young women and adults we meet will feel a stronger love for Jesus through our presence. I know very little Spanish but being the grandma of 11 gives me bragging rights for giving lots of hugs and acting silly.
I am excited to see how the Holy Spirit works within me and the rest of the Honduras team. I pray the team be used as tools to show Jesus' love for the kids at the orphanage. I am so blessed with this opportunity to build new relationships and can't wait to play with the kids in Honduras.
We are thankful to Betty Boyd, David Boyd, Shirley Gettis and Matt Drager for all of their leadership as team captains. David told me, “It is so exciting to see how God makes a way and His flock grows through these experiences. I am excited to go back to see the kids again!”
If you would like to subscribe to receive the weekly updates, please email Barb Drager to join the list.
Please continue to keep us in your prayers.
