Linda started in the church office at only ten hours per week in February 1989, and worked up to full time in January 2003. The Butler’s three children, Bobbi [living in Ellensburg, WA], Heather [living in Queen Creek] and Michael [living in Gilbert], grew up at Christ’s Greenfield. Linda loves being a “Grammie” to her 8 grandchildren. She has been a surrogate mom and grandmother to many other youngsters over the years who still come to see her in the church office from time to time. Linda’s hobbies include yoga, bowling, going to drag races with Jack’s ’65 Fairlane, relaxing with her family, and going out to eat at Italian and Mexican restaurants.

eharris@cglchurch.org
Elma grew up in Chicago, Illinois, where she met and married Mike Harris in 1977. Elma began working in the church office at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Oak Lawn, Illinois, in 1995. Their two children, Christopher and Lisa, both came to the Valley to attend Arizona State University, and since Mike's parents and family had also moved here, the Harrises decided Arizona was the place to be! Elma left her work at St. Paul in August, 2003, and they packed up and moved to Gilbert in September of that year. Elma began attending Christ's Greenfield shortly thereafter, and in April, 2004, started working three days a week in the church office. Mike and Elma became grandparents in 2009 and again on August 29, 2011. Elma adores the time she is able to spend with her grandchildren. Elma also enjoys biking, hiking, gardening, and going to see Civil War battlefields and other historical sites with Mike.
