We believe that God sent Jesus, His Son, to save us, even though we are sinful and do not deserve His love. Through His death, Jesus won for us forgiveness and eternal life. We must hear this good news and believe it to have the eternal life that it offers. God creates faith in Christ, and gives us forgiveness through Him. The Bible is God's inerant and infallible Word and the sole rule and norm for Christian doctrine.

To help our new members understand or renew their Lutheran faith, we offer Basic Training, our series of new member classes, several times a year. This seven-week series will prepare you for membership in CGLC and help assimilate you into our congregation.
