Small Group Bible Study

The Story

Over the next several months, we will embark on a journey together as we explore the most compelling story of all time; the story of the Bible. This study arranges the events, characters and teachings of the Bible chronologically to help us better understand the story of how God moved through history in a more seamless flow from Creation to Revelation.

It’s helping people everywhere experience Scripture like never before. This is also a great time to invite friends and family to our church, to help them better understand that the Bible isn’t just any ordinary story. It’s a story that has the power to change who you are, what you think and how you view life. The story of a true God who loves his children, who established for them a way of salvation and provided a route to eternity.

We are forming groups of 6-12 people to apply The Story to their lives weekly. Group will meet at a home in the community some time during the week or weekend. This is a great chance to meet new people, connect with others, and enjoy life together.

If you would like to be in a group, please click here.

If you would like to be a small group Story "Guide," please sign up here and Vicar Jake will contact you to start forming your group.

Exploring the Story - Deliverance

  1. What are some of the things the Lord may have worked into Joseph's life through his many years of struggle?  What were some of the doubts he may have faced? What can you learn from his example?
  2. In effect Joseph said to his brothers, "What you meant for evil, God meant for good." Have you ever  had an experience, looking back, you can see Gd bringing good out of a sinful choice or an evil act?

"Life Groups" Based on the Story

“Life Groups” Based on the Story

The Idea: Grow together in God’s Word, strive for transparency, and connect with others to serve the community.

Join: Pick a group. Contact the Guide and let them know you might want to join them. The Guide can give you more specifics on the group dynamics. Try a group out. If it’s not a fit, try another group out. God has wired us all differently and put us in different life stages. We are here to help you connect with others and to grow closer to God.

More groups are forming for the Fall but we need more Guides. Please contact Vicar Jake to talk more about this great opportunity at jboessling@cglchurch.org or (480) 747-3280.
